REMOVAL - REFITTING REAR SUSPENSION

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] Lifting cross piece (-).0007 .

[2] Centring bolt (-).0542 .

2 - REMOVAL

IMPERATIVE : do not lift the vehicle by supporting it under the centre of the rear cross member .

Place the vehicle on a lift .

Slacken the wheel bolts .

Lift and support the vehicle with the rear wheels suspended .

Remove the wheels .

Remove the 2 plastic protectors placed under the vehicle .

Uncouple the wheel sensor harness (1) by means of the connector .

Uncouple the brake hoses (2) and protect the hose holes .

Uncouple the cable (3) from the securing clip .

Uncouple the brakes cables (4) from the brake caliper .

REMOVE THE SPRINGS .

Place a hydraulic stand fitted with the tool [1] under the rear axle .

Remove :

3 - REFITTING

Position the centring bolts [2] on each side of the body .

Offer up the axle under the body so that the yokes are guided by the centring bolts .

Refit the 4 bolts (5) in the unused holes .

Tighten the bolts (5) to 6.2 daN.m .

Replace the bolts [2] with the bolts (5) .

Tighten the bolts (5) to 6.2 daN.m .

REFIT THE SPRINGS .

Connect the brake pipes (3) .

Fit the harnesses and the hand brake cables .

BLEED THE BRAKES .

Fit the wheels .

PLACE THE VEHICLE AT SETTING HEIGHT .

Tighten :
