REMOVAL - REFITTING FASCIA

1 - REMOVAL

Disconnect the battery .


Remove :


Remove :


Using a spatula, detach the side vents (9) .

Remove : The ventilators .


Using a spatula, unclip the right and left closers (10) .

1 - 1 - ON THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE


Disconnect the passenger airbag disarming switch connector (11) .

Disconnect the connector (12) .


Using a screwdriver blade, unclip the sensor (13) .

Disconnect connector (14) from the sensor .

Remove the sensor (13) .


Remove :


Remove the fixings (18), (19) on the air conditioning unit .


Remove the central fixing (20) .

Detach the hazard warning lights switch (21) .

Disconnect the connector (22) .

Remove the hazard warning lights switch (21) .

1 - 2 - ENGINE COMPARTMENT SIDE


Remove the scuttle grille .

Remove the column support fixings (23) .

1 - 3 - ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE - PASSENGER'S SIDE


Remove the right and left air ducts (24) .


Unclip the wiring housing (25) connector (26) .

Disconnect the connector (25) .


Unclip : The bezel (27) .

Disconnect the connectors (According to specification) .

Remove : The bezel (27) .


Remove the fasteners (28) (Left and right) .

IMPERATIVE : two people are required to perform the following operation ; pull the instrument panel towards you to detach it from the bulkhead .

Remove the fascia .

2 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

IMPERATIVE : the heater fastenings (18), (19) are fitted before the torque arm (8) is fitted .

2 - 1 - TIGHTEN TO THE CORRECT TORQUE

Crossmember/body fixings (28) : 1,3 ± 0,5 da.Nm .

Instrument panel crossmember fixing (20) : 0,7 ± 0,2 da.Nm .

Column/body support fixing (23) : 2,4 ± 0,6 da.Nm .

Strengthening strut fixing(s) (6) : 2,2 ± 0,5 da.Nm .

Strengthening strut fixing(s) (7) : 2,2 ± 0,5 da.Nm .

Check the correct electrical operation of the equipment .
